If your payments have moved from the Department for Work and Pensions

Pension Age Disability Payment is replacing Attendance Allowance in Scotland. If you get Attendance Allowance, it will transfer to Pension Age Disability Payment.

After your benefit is moved, Social Security Scotland may review your award if you:

  • are due a review
  • report a change

Social Security Scotland and the Department for Work and Pensions will both send you a letter to explain what happens next. You do not need to do anything until you receive these letters.

Find out more about how Attendance Allowance is moving to Social Security Scotland.

Call Social Security Scotland free on 0800 182 2222 if you have any questions about the transfer process

If something changes before your award is transferred
