Planes

To allow airlines to make any necessary alternative arrangements, you should give them as much notice as possible. This usually means telling them about your particular needs when booking.

Airlines are responsible for assisting disabled passengers on board the aircraft as well as helping with:

  • boarding
  • disembarking
  • transit between flights

You cannot take your wheelchair into the passenger cabin of a plane - it will be stored in the hold.
