Complain about a bus service

If you want to complain about a bus service in Scotland, the first thing you should do is make a complaint to the bus operator. Their website should tell you how to make a complaint.

If you aren't happy with the answer you get from the operator, you can complain to Bus Users.

They can deal with problems including:

  • charging the wrong fare
  • the attitude or behaviour of staff
  • personal safety
  • accessibility for disabled passengers
  • the route and destination not being made clear
  • buses not being reliable or on time

Visit the Transport Scotland website for information on how to make a complaint.
