The Scottish Police Authority was established to:

  • maintain policing
  • promote policing principles and continuous improvement of policing
  • hold the Chief Constable to account

Services

  • Complain about the police

    If you believe that Police Scotland have not provided the service you expected, they have behaved unfairly or incorrectly then you can make a complaint.
  • Volunteer to be a custody visitor

    Apply to help visit police stations to make sure people held in custody are treated properly.
