Missing payments

Missing payments could mean your Time to Pay is cancelled.

If you miss payments and the agreement is cancelled you cannot reapply for Time to Pay for the same debt.

Change of circumstances

If your circumstances change and it affects you making payments you can apply to have your agreement ‘varied’. This means the court may agree to change the amount you pay.

To do this, ask your local Sheriff Court to send you the form. The court will then write to you with a decision.
