How to complete a PVG application offline

The quickest way to make a PVG application is online. 

If you cannot do it online, you can complete a word form or paper form instead. These take longer, so try to apply online first. 

If you use an offline option, you will not be able to view your disclosure result online. You'll get a paper certificate instead.

Offline options

The organisation you're working with needs to start the application, unless you're applying as self-employed.

Word forms

There's a form for joining the PVG scheme and a form for existing PVG members.

Organisations can email completed forms to Disclosure Scotland.

Paper forms

To get a paper form email response@disclosurescotland.gov.scot.

Include your name, address details and the type of application form you need.
