Scottish Land Commission
The Scottish Land Commission is driving a programme of land reform spanning both urban and rural land. Their goal is to create a Scotland where land is owned and used in ways that are fair, responsible and productive. This includes:
- providing evidence-based recommendations to Scottish Ministers
- recommending changes to laws or policies
- gathering evidence, carrying out research, preparing reports and providing information and guidance
If you’re a landowner you can get support from the Good Practice team at the Scottish Land Commission. You can contact them to share your experience or find out how you can improve your practices.
