Police Negotiating Board for Scotland
The Police Negotiating Board for Scotland (PNBS) is a public body that negotiates pay, terms and conditions for police officers in Scotland. The Chair is appointed by Scottish ministers. The current Chair is Lisa Blackett.
PNBS makes recommendations to Scottish ministers about regulations and determinations relating to the governance, administration and conditions of service of police officers in Scotland.
PNBS publish an annual report outlining the business of the previous 12 months and circulars setting out agreements reached.
PNBS replaced the Police Negotiating Board in August 2023.
