District Heating Relief

You can get a 50% relief on your non-domestic rates, if your premises are only being used for a district heating network, or mainly being used for a district heating network. This relief will be available until 2032.

From 1 April 2024, a 90% relief is available for district heating networks where at least 80% of the energy generated by the network is from renewables. This relief will be available until 31 March 2027.
