Who else to tell about the move

Pension Age Disability Payment affects other benefits in the same way as Attendance Allowance.

Warning

If you do not get other benefits, you do not need to do anything.

If you get Universal Credit

You need to tell Universal Credit above the move. This will make sure that you stay in payment.

If you get other benefits from DWP

The move from Attendance Allowance to Pension Age Disability should not affect other benefits you may get from DWP including:

  • Employment and Support Allowance
  • Carer’s Allowance
  • Income Support
  • Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • Pension Credit
Warning

If you get any of these benefits, you do not need to tell DWP that your Attendance Allowance is moving to Pension Age Disability Payment.
