You can get help and support from these organisations:
- the Scottish Government's Cost of Living Portal provides help during the cost of living crisis
- Mind to Mind on NHS Inform gives advice on coping with money worries
- Citizens Advice Scotland offer free money and debt advice for anyone living in Scotland:
- contact their Money Talk Team for personalised advice
- call your local Citizens Advice Bureau on 0800 028 1456
- the Mental Health & Money Advice Service provides free advice, support, advocacy and representation for people affected by mental health and money issues:
- call 0300 323 1545, Monday to Friday, 9am - 4:30pm

- Money Advice Scotland provides a list of services for people with money worries
If you provide money guidance to other people
The Money Guiders programme can help you if you give any type of non-regulated money guidance to individuals or groups. For example, you may be a community worker, volunteer or mental health worker. This programme can help you give safe, effective guidance.
