Support starting a job or attending an interview
Flexible Support Fund
If you have a work coach, you might be eligible for the Flexible Support Fund. This is a fund that supports you moving into work. It can help with things like:
- paying for travel to interviews
- travel costs when starting work
- clothing to start work

Get free train travel to an interview
If you’re the holder of a Jobcentre Plus Travel Discount Card, you could be eligible for:

up to two free tickets a month for travel to interviews

a free Monthly Season Ticket when you secure work

Job Start Payment
Job Start Payment can help you with the costs of starting a new job.
You can apply if you're a young person or care leaver aged between 16 to 24 years old who's both:
- been out of work
- on certain benefits

Get work support if you have a disability or health condition
Access to Work can help you get or stay in work if you have a physical or mental health condition or disability. The support you can get will depend on your needs.
