Find your local council or constituency

Scotland is divided up into different areas: 

  • local council areas are called ‘wards’ 
  • parliament areas are called ‘constituencies’ 

These are different depending on if you’re voting in: 

  • local council elections 
  • Scottish Parliament elections 
  • UK Parliament elections 

You can find out which ward or constituency you’re in on boundaries.scot
