Become a charity
If you want to set up a charity in Scotland, your organisation must:
- have only 'charitable purposes'
- help the public (provide 'public benefit')

The Scottish Charity Regulator (OCSR) regulates and registers all charities in Scotland. They also have information on the steps to launch a charity in Scotland, including:
